Kovalska ICG knows how to unite 3500 people in a team of co-thinkers and for the 12th time arranged a mini-football tournament for its employees and guests. The professional level of players’ sports training and irrepressible support of fans presented to all spectators not only skillful football, but also an incredibly enchanting holiday.
On August 11, 12 and 13, 9 teams from Kovalska Group enterprises competed for the championship:
– Kovalska (Svitlana Kovalska Reinforced-Concrete Constructions Plant, PJSC)
– Konstruktyv (Beton Complex, LLC)
– Beton Service (Beton Service, LLC)
– AvtoBud (Avtobudcomplex-K, LLC)
– Budindustriya (Budindustriya, PJSC)
– Budivelnyk (Construction and Mounting Department of Svitlana Kovalska Reinforced-Concrete Constructions Plant, PJSC)
– Siltek (Terminal-M, PrJSC)
– OmKar (Omelyanivskyi Quarry, LLC)
– Darnytsia (Darnytskyi Reinforced-Concrete Constructions Plant, PrJSC)
and a specially invited team:
– Granit (Granit Transnational Corporation, PrJSC)
Konstruktyv team, which won Kovalska with a score of 6:3, for the fifth time became the champion of the competition and the holder of Kovalska Cup. The final match was extremely tense: at the end of the regular playing time, the opponents played with an equal score 2:2, but the players of Konstruktyv managed to beat Kovalska for 3 points on penalties.
The fans warmly supported their favorites and inspired them to demonstrate a really exciting game.
“This year, a fairly accurate appeal, which fully characterizes our big company, has been chosen for the tournament: “You can do more than you think”. Each of us — in the role of a player or a fan — is able to go beyond their capabilities. Kovalska football match is a vivid example of this. Here, in Hidropark, completely different people gather, but they become a single powerful team. And this atmosphere is a feeling of pride for each other, which is transformed into work, and stimulates new victories,” Oleksandr Pylypenko, President of Kovalska ICG, commented on this year’s tournament.
The second and the third places were respectively taken by Kovalska and AvtoBud teams.
Siltek and Darnytsia teams met in the final of the Small Cup. The first place was won by Siltek team with a score 4:2. The third place was won by OmKar team.

The President Oleksandr Pylypenko and the General Director Serhii Pylypenko together with the First Vice-President of Kovalska ICG Mykola Subotenko awarded the prizewinners and the participants of the 12th football tournament with commemorative medals, cups and worthy money certificates.
The best player of the tournament was Ivan Glutskyi, who brought 14 goals to Kovalska team, and Yevhen Golubchanskyi received the highest scorer’s award.
A pleasant surprise for the guests was a contest for the best photo in social networks with the hashtag #kovalska_football, based on the results of which the participants with the greatest number of “likes” received gifts and congratulations from all the guests of the event. The holiday of sports was filled with positive emotions and festive mood.
