Terminal A of the International Airport in Zhulyany will soon be able to serve the additional passenger traffic due to the constructive decision of the Kovalska Industrial and Construction Group to install the framework of the new section of the terminal.
The uniqueness and at the same time practicality of the project developed by Kovalska specialists consists in the use of reinforced concrete structures of rapid erection: columns, beams, purlins, and floor slabs.
Construction and assembly work on the expansion of the air-terminal complex began in June 2018 and will be completed by the end of September of the same year. Work on the arrangement of the underground part of the monolith, the installation of elevator shafts, staircases and brickwork is now underway.

For the implementation of the project, according to Denys Kostrzhevskyi, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Mayster-Avia, it is planned to allocate UAH 500 million. The expansion of the terminal area provides for the construction of a new section in the right wing of the building with an area of 9.5 thousand square meters. The area of the existing terminal A is 14 thousand square meters.
