The Kovalska Innovation and Technology Center has developed a unique concrete, which has the ability not to harden within 5 hours, while for ordinary concrete mortars this figure does not exceed 4 hours.
It made it possible to significantly expand the geography of delivery of concrete mixes and to deliver high-quality products not only to the Kyiv region but also to neighboring regions located at a distance of up to 500 km from the plant.
The first delivery of new concrete has been successfully completed to implement the construction of a storage facility for spent nuclear fuel at the Chornobyl NPP. Such an important innovative step is an opportunity for the Kovalska Group to join the development of the country’s nuclear power industry. In the near future, the company plans to supply special concrete to other NPPs in Ukraine.
By means of increasing the shelf life of the rheological properties of ready-mixed concrete mixes, Kovalska has already arranged deliveries to neighboring regions: Zhytomyr, Chernihiv, Cherkasy and Poltava regions.
